Family pictures

Our Young Women do a family photo shoot fundraiser. It is a great deal....and we actually get some family pictures taken without too much pain and suffering. This time it was raining for most of the shoot, but we got some great pictures to keep me and the grandmas happy.

TREK!

After much shopping, hiking, and sewing the Pioneer Trek finally arrived for the girls. Here they are all decked out with Sister Amanda Hill (Madison's ma). They had a great time and learned that they can do hard things. Matt and I are so proud of the good things they are doing and the good choices they are making.

Independence Day

This year we were home for the 4th and spent the day at a movie and lunch and then at a BBQ and fireworks with our friends. This V.A. Cemetary is near our home in Eagle Point. I am so thankful to all the men and women who have fought for our freedom. THANK YOU!

Piano Recital

The girls completed another successful piano recital! They are getting good, now I just need them to start playing at church so I know my investment is worth it.

Fun at Science Works

We went and spent the day at Science Works with Amanda and Meagan. We had such a great time...our favorite was the bubble room.

Sledding at Diamond Lake

We had promised the kids tubing in Salt Lake at Christmas time and we were not able to get in, because it was booked so we said we would go back in Oregon. With Matt being in school we knew that we were going to have to go during the week, but we wanted to go somewhere formal with a tow rope and lots of snow. Diamond Lake seemed to be the perfect spot, but the tow rope only runs on the weekend. Bummer! We went anyway and got in some good hiking and a whole tubing mountain to ourselves. When we were finally too tired to go up the hill anymore a private senior citizens group came and they turned on the tow rope, yippie! We asked if it was OK for us to stay and they said sure, so we got the best of both worlds some hiking and the place to ourselves and then lots of rides up the mountain with the tube and fast tubing down! It was a glorious day and we loved having Matt with us.

Aunt Dana Rocks!!!!

Aunt Dana and her boys build gingerbread houses for days so that we can all come together for one big decorating party. She hosts all the Great Grandchildren of Royce and Elaine Nichol. What a fun day with a room full of adorable kids! Thanks Aunt Dana!

Our Snowman

We all contributed to our big, big, big snowman. He was taller than daddy and fun to build. The only snowman we can make in Oregon are no bigger than a toddler. We do miss Utah snow!
